Botanical Garden

The park created in 1884, the gardens is spread over 30ha of forested hills, lush green tropical trees and plants.

The Butterfly Farm Penang is one of those attractions which is easily overlook in the amount of interesting attractions in Penang. The farm is located just outside Teluk Bahang in the north west corner of Penang island.












St George's Church Penang
South-East Asia's oldest Anglican church and the largest in Malaysia. Completed in 1818 ubder the initiatives of Penang colonial chaplain, Rev.Robert Sparke Hutchings. Cost about 60,000 Spanish Dollars. The church architecture is based on Western neo-classical style and George Palladian design.

Penang Hill Railway is the railway track 
of  the Penang Hill Funicular Train that 
goes from Air Itam to Penang Hill. The 
train  service starts from the foot of 
the hill at Air Itam.
















The idea of a railway line up Penang Hill was forth as early 1897, before motor vehicle was even introduced to Penang Island. It was built by the British between 1906 and 1923 at a cost of 1.5 million Dollars.

is the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast

Penang Bridge is a vital link connecting 
Penang Island and Perai on the mainland
of West Malaysia. It provides an efficient,
fast and most convenient passage to 
motorist with a modests travelling time
of approximately 11 minutes during 
peak hours and 9 minutes during 
off-peak (speed limit 70km/hour)





NEW LANDMARK: The Second Penang Bridge which connects Batu Maung on the Island and Batu Kawan at Seberang Perai is the longest in Southeast Asia.












PENANG PORT
Penang Ferry Service is the oldest ferry service in Malaysia, this famous ferry service connects Sultan Abdul Halim ferry terminal in Betterworth to Raja Tun Uda ferry terminal at Weld Quay in 
Georgetown in Penang Island.
